Ask anyone what they would take on a desert island and most people will mention some kind of comforting thing that takes them to another place. Foods, Technology etc.

But what you really NEED in your life is a regular physical practice, food that nourishes you and a space to just 'BE'

What do you not need? STRESS - Haven't you heard that it kills! But if you look at the initial things you may have suggested for that dreamy desert island, often this is a response to stress, something that diverts the attention from the stressful situation but doesn't even pretend to resolve it.

We hold on to the things that cause stress, sometimes feeling it will help us to grow, sometimes feeling we are the only person that CAN handle it or even from a sense of wanting to prevent someone else from suffering as much as we are, we keep holding it.

What can you do? It's really easy. I promise if you just do one of the first three things every day for 30 days and then add a second for another 30 days and the 3rd in the last 30 days, that in 90 days you will not recognise your life. And as for Stress? Just let go.
